Philomena Manifold has created a book of beauty and wonder in Written in Stone: Reading the Rocks of the Great Ocean Road. A visual book that dives deep into time, poetry and the way rocks hold stories, Written in Stone is multi-disciplinary, combining research, writing, sketches, maps, and photographs. These elements have been woven together into a 135 million-year journey that follows the coast from Torquay to Warrnambool.

Andy McNeilly has been teaching children and adults for many years. More recently he has been running workshops to help families connect. They focus on ‘life skills’ that are vital for our children to succeed in the futures they design for themselves. Life skills are often learnt later on in life, on the job, by trial and error. These are the people skills that enable us to socialise, communicate and interact with each other in harmony. They include gratitude, empathy, communication, imagination, organisation, self-awareness and resilience. Join Andy for the launch of his new book Connecting with Your Kids, which contains fun, simple and practical ideas to help raise resilient children.
