How do I join the library?

Joining the library is free and simple. Membership gives you access to all library resources, including physical and digital collections, events and services.

SIGN UP HERE

If you’re a Victorian resident, simply visit one of our libraries, provide proof of current residential address and agree to our Membership Terms and Conditions below. Our friendly staff will issue you with a library card and get you started on the spot.

If you’re under 18 years of age, bring along a parent or guardian to show proof of current address and agree to our terms and conditions on your behalf.

We invite non-Victorian residents to ask about temporary membership.

Please note: Library Cards expire every 3 years. Once expired, you will need to contact one of our libraries to confirm your address and phone number for reactivation.

eMembership

eMembership gives you access to our electronic services and resources. You can sign-up online here. Fill out the short form and you will receive a confirmation email during business hours to finalise your membership.
