Building Digital Skills Program

Are you over 50 and want to build your online skills? Learning new digital skills is more important than ever and we can help!

We are delivering free sessions across our library network from June to December 2023 to help you confidently use your smartphone, computer, or device. Join the Building Digital Skills program and improve your ability to navigate the digital world.

How to get involved

In three simple steps at your own pace, you can build your digital skills and be connected!

Start your free learning journey by enrolling in the program at the library. You can attend any enrolment session happening at your nearest library location. You choose when you'd like to start! Any time from now until the end of the year. Check out when and where it suits you via the below links.

Or you can drop into your local library and chat with our friendly staff for more information.

You choose what and when you want to learn. We have scheduled learning sessions from June until December on all sorts of topics. Sessions to help get you started on the internet and confidently use your smartphone, computer, or device.

Discover a world of entertainment online, video call friends and family, set up your MyGov account or order groceries online — even if you’ve never used a computer!

You can also learn at your own pace at home or drop into your local library and talk to a Digital Mentor. Or a combination of any of these options. It's up to you.

Take a look at some of the learning topics on offer!

No matter what you want to learn or how long it takes, your final step is to check in and celebrate what you've learned on the program. Come to one of the check in session and how far you've come. Detail in the following links
