THE SEED LIBRARY

Geelong Regional Libraries' Seed Library is now available for you to obtain free seeds for your garden and help build a collection of seeds for others!

Share seeds with the Seed Library, grow your knowledge, and foster a culture of sharing among a community of gardeners and seed growers of all ages.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

  • BORROW - Up to 3 seed packets.
  • PLANT - grow in your garden.
  • DONATE - your seeds back to the Seed Library once you've nurtured your plants to maturity.

The Seed Library is currently available at Bannockburn, Colac, Drysdale, NewcombTorquay and Waurn Ponds Libraries.

The roving Seed Library box will be located at Corio Library (September/October 2022), Apollo Bay Library (August/September 2022) and at Ocean Grove Library (September/October 2022).

We have a curated collection of Seed Library Resources, to provide support to you in the Seed growing journey.
