Hire a space at the library for meetings, workshops, presentations, community events and special occasions.

Geelong Library & Heritage Centre, Level 5 – Wurdi Youang
Wurdi Youang (Level 5) at Geelong Library & Heritage Centre is available for larger events and functions like corporate functions, conferences, weddings, and formal banquets.
Bookings for Level 5 are available via a Venue Hire Enquiry Form.

Hire Rates (Level 2 and 4)

Venue Hire Rates can be found on the 2025-2026 Schedule of Fees and are current as of 1st July, 2025.

The following discounts apply:

Standard (0% discount): Individuals and businesses
Non-profit (25% discount): NFPs, charities, government organisations, library members
Concession (70% discount): Seniors, concessions, students and community interest groups (book clubs, running clubs etc)

Please ensure you select the correct 'Booking Type' relevant to your discount category when booking online.
