Child Safety

GRLC is committed to child safety. We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where children and young people feel safe and respected regardless of age, gender identity and expression, ethnicity, ability, sexual orientation, or cultural background. We are committed to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children and children from culturally and linguistically diverse communities. We value the views of children, young people and families who participate in our programs, visit our libraries, and/or use our online services.

GRLC has a zero tolerance of all forms of child abuse and behaviour that may pose a risk to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people. We take child safety concerns seriously and endeavour to investigate all reports appropriately to protect and support the health and well-being of children and young people.
