Due to the recent announcement of a lockdown for the City of Greater Geelong and the Surf Coast Shire, all library branches and mobile library services in those Council areas* are currently closed. These libraries will re-open on Monday 27 September (at usual branch opening time), pending any further announcements from the State Government.
During this period, external return chutes will be open however due dates for borrowed items have been extended until libraries re-open and no fines will be issued during this period.
All libraries and mobile libraries in Borough of Queenscliffe, Colac Otway Shire and Golden Plains Shire - that is, Apollo Bay Library, Bannockburn Library, Colac Library, Queenscliff Library, Colac Otway Mobile Library and Golden Plains Mobile Library - remain open and operating, with regular opening hours.
We continue to offer a Click & Collect service at all libraries (except Western Heights Library) and mobile libraries.
