Partner with us to present a major event in 2027

We’re inviting community organisations to partner with Geelong Regional Libraries to present a major event for adult audiences in our 2027 program.

This is an opportunity to bring people together for events that encourage public conversation around contemporary issues, promote innovative thinking and create opportunities for learning and connection.

We’re particularly interested in events that engage the community, attract new audiences to the library and contribute to a vibrant, culturally connected community across the region.

Partnership events are generally held at Wurdi Youang, our event space on Level 5 of Geelong Library & Heritage Centre, and may include panel discussions, author in-conversations, keynote speakers, public information sessions, film screenings, poetry or literary readings and more.

Key dates:

  • 1 October 2026: Expressions of interest open
  • 30 November 2026: Expressions of interest close
  • 31 January 2027: Successful applicants notified
  • March to November 2027: Partnership events held

For information about eligibility, selection criteria and event formats, see the support information document.

Submit an expression of interest form.

For enquiries, contact the Events team at events@grlc.vic.gov.au.
