Great news! Restrictions easing

Friday 19 November 2021

In line with announcements by the Victorian Government yesterday, we’re pleased to announce that restrictions have eased in our libraries, as Victoria reaches the 90% double-vaccinated milestone.

As of today:

  • Wearing a mask is optional in libraries
  • There are no restrictions on visitor numbers in branches or mobile libraries (except where occupancy limits apply due to building permits)
  • There will be no time limits on visits
  • There will be no limits on attendance at our events and programs.

Please note, we will be required to check the COVID vaccination status of visitors to the library who are aged 12 years and two months and older. To find out more about requirements for proof of vaccination, please visit our coronavirus information page.

Please continue to practise good hand hygiene, and don’t enter the library if you’re unwell.

See you at the library!
