Most borrowed books for 2022 – and some treasures you might have missed

Ever wondered what your neighbour is reading? Or what to read next? Check out our lists of the most borrowed titles from 2022.

Thousands of people visit Geelong Regional Libraries’ 19 community libraries and three mobile libraries every week. In total members borrow almost 2 million collection items a year, from a collection of just over 400,000 items.

Below are lists of the most borrowed books for 2022, as well as a list of some hidden gems suggested by our team.
