Roof replacement works at Queenscliff Library

Friday 20 February 2026

The Borough of Queenscliffe will replace the roof at Queenscliff Library 2–13 March, with scaffolding going up outside in late February.

Queenscliff Library remains open to customers throughout the works, including access to the after-hours returns chute. Works will be visible and construction noise is expected at times.

Customers seeking a quieter space during this period are welcome to visit Leopold Library or Boronggook Drysdale Library.

This necessary maintenance improves weather protection but will not change the heritage building's appearance.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will keep you updated here.
