Keeping seniors connected in the digital age

Wednesday 15 February

Yesterday was Library Lovers' Day, and what a way to celebrate!

We were thrilled to receive a visit from Minister for Local Government Melissa Horne, Member for Bellarine Alison Marchant and Borough of Queenscliffe Mayor Isabelle Tolhurst to Queenscliff Library at Wirrng Wirrng.

The Minister joined us after yesterday's announcement of additional operational funding for public libraries resulting in $121,699 for Geelong Regional Libraries to increase our programs and services focussed on keeping seniors connected in the digital age.

These programs and services are a critical part of the work we do - and love! This is a great outcome for the communities we serve - we can't wait to share more about our programs supporting seniors to stay connected.
