The Queenscliffe Hub, which will be home to the new Queenscliff Library, is nearing completion and is expected to open in the coming weeks. We look forward to welcoming the community into the new Library soon! Please be advised that our temporary library at The Tavern (18 Hesse Street, Queenscliff) will be closing from 5:00pm, Tuesday 21 June in preparation for the move. Customer will be unable to return items to Queenscliff Library after 21 June, until the new library opens. However, during this period all other libraries in the Geelong Regional Libraries' network remain open and available for you to access, return items, and pick up holds. The closest libraries to Queenscliff are listed below:
Printing and photocopying services are available at the Borough of Queenscliffe council offices. We will continue to keep you updated about the opening date for the new library as building works near completion. At its Board meeting held on Thursday 30 April 2026, the Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) resolved to place the Draft Budget 2026-27 and Strategic Resource Plan 2027-30 on public exhibition in preparation for adoption on Thursday 25 June 2026.
We are currently experiencing a network-wide issue affecting our public computers across our library branches. As a result, public computer access is currently unavailable.
We are reviewing our mobile library service across Golden Plains and the Bellarine, and we’re inviting community feedback to help guide its future.
Just a friendly reminder that all libraries in the our network are closed over Easter and for the ANZAC Day public holiday.
The Birregurra library kiosk at the Community Health Centre is now available for members to borrow, collect, and return library items at a time that suits them.
