We all know that this Wednesday 14 February, is Valentine's Day, but for libraries all around Australia, it marks Library Lovers' Day, which makes it the perfect time to show your love by visiting (or revisiting) your local library.

Library Lovers’ Day is a special day to honour libraries, librarians, book lovers, and lovers of libraries. We also celebrate the important relationship between our community and libraries.

At Geelong Regional Libraries, we embrace 14 February this year with fantastic activities that we welcome you to make date to join us:

• Scent of a book - captivate the senses with a very special and unique event fusing books and perfume: 6.00pm-7.00pm, Geelong Library & Heritage Centre
• Join a friendly, free afternoon tea at Queenscliff Library - especially for library lovers: 2.30pm-3.30pm
• Get creative at Corio Library with a themed sewing class: 2.00pm-3.30pm
• Join a book chat on romance novels: 5.00pm-6.00pm, Geelong Library & Heritage Centre
• Find your perfect book match with a speed dating book session at Leopold Library: 9.00am-5.00pm
• Belmont Library hosts a Valentine's creative paper cutting workshop with a Brother DesignNCut machine: 2.30pm-4.00pm
