A coming-of-age story and crime thriller with a large and gentle heart.

After surviving an unexpected homophobic attack, he is drawn into a hunt for the reasons for the high suicide rate of young men in the town, and why local police are not prepared to investigate crimes that no one reckons have taken place.

*IN-PERSON* Bodysurfing - Hugh McGinlay

A Catherine Kint Mystery, set in Ocean Grove

Bodysurfing, the third Victoria-based Catherine Kint mystery by Hugh McGinlay, is now out with Clan Destine Press.

Catherine Kint is a gin enthusiast and raconteur with a penchant for men with high cheekbones. She also has the distinction of being Australia’s only milliner sleuth. Her talents with hat pins, and a former occupation as a crime scene investigator, mean she is a force to be reckoned with.

Author Hugh McGinlay is a writer and musician. These poor life decisions mean he has also worked as bus driver, kitchenhand, singing teacher and seller of dental consumables.
