Orchestra Geelong is sorry to announce that our concert for the Geelong Seniors Festival (Oct 15 2022) is cancelled. This is due to us unfortunately finding ourselves without a conductor (a very important role in an orchestra) and not being able to find a replacement at short notice. We look forward to rescheduling this event in 2023 and hope to have the pleasure of your attendance then.

Writers' Workshop presented by Geelong Regional Libraries
This is a poetry workshop specifically concerned with the non-prescriptive form of the aubade (leave-taking, lament at parting).
Aubade poems are “daybreak” love songs that welcome the new morning but also lament the end of the night. Thus, it is typically about lovers parting at dawn.
This workshop welcomes interested writers from diverse skill levels, ages 16+.
