Peter Murrihy, member of the Board of Geelong Regional Libraries, today announced the reopening of the Chilwell Library following refurbishments, at a morning tea attended by library patrons and members of the community.
The rejuvenated space has new flooring, fresh paint throughout, improved shelving and a refreshed floorplan that makes the most of the abundant natural light and comfortable ambience of the library.
The collection at the much-loved library has also been refreshed and specially curated to meet the needs of the local community.
Branch Librarian Vicky and her staff look forward to welcoming patrons back to the library.
