At its Board meeting held on Thursday 30 April 2026, the Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) resolved to place the Draft Budget 2026-27 and Strategic Resource Plan 2027-30 on public exhibition in preparation for adoption on Thursday 25 June 2026. The Draft Budget indicates the levels of recurrent income and expenditure, the capital works projects to be undertaken during the year and the level of expenditure on library materials in support of the Strategic Resource Plan 2026-30.

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1989, a copy of the Draft Budget is available for inspection on our website here until Tuesday 2 June 2026. Any person may make a written submission regarding this document in accordance with section 223 of the

Local Government Act 1989. They, or their representative, may request to present the submission at a Special Meeting to be held on Thursday 11 June 2026 at 5:30pm.

Submissions must be lodged no later than close of business Tuesday 2 June 2026 to the Chief Executive Officer via: info@grlc.vic.gov.au or posted to:

Following consideration of any submissions, GRLC will meet to adopt the Draft Budget at its Board Meeting on Thursday 25 June 2026 at 5:30pm.
