New neurodiversity resources available at your library

Thanks to the generous support of Flying Start Children's Therapy, families across our region can now borrow a carefully curated collection of books covering topics including autism, ADHD, sensory processing, emotional regulation and neurodiversity.

The collection includes trusted resources for children, parents, carers and educators, providing practical guidance and evidence-informed information to support learning, understanding and everyday life.

Based in Torquay, Flying Start Children's Therapy is a local allied health practice dedicated to helping children and families thrive. Their team of practitioners works alongside families to provide evidence-informed therapy and support, with a strong focus on empowering children and celebrating neurodiversity.

Working together, Flying Start Children's Therapy practitioners and our Collections staff have carefully selected titles that reflect current knowledge, inclusive perspectives and the needs of local families.

The collection is available to borrow across the Geelong Regional Libraries network and can be found by searching Flying Start Children's Therapy  in our online catalogue. Books can be borrowed and returned at any of our libraries, making the collection accessible to families throughout the region.

This new collection strengthens our commitment to providing inclusive collections that support the diverse needs of our community and improve access to trusted information for local families.

We are extremely grateful to Flying Start Children's Therapy for their generous support. Through this partnership, more families across our region can access reliable resources that foster understanding, celebrate neurodiversity and support children to thrive.

You can search the Flying Start Children's Therapy Collection through our online catalogue or speak with a team member at your local library for more information.
