About

Chilwell Library was officially opened on 16 July 1958 by Cr Henry Jacobs, JP, Mayor. The library was refurbished in 1993, 2019 & extensively redeveloped in 2026. It is a small, and community-focused library very close to the vibrant Pakington Street precinct.
