Temporary internet outage at Geelong Library & Heritage Centre

Thursday 12 June, 2025

Due to scheduled maintenance by our internet provider, there will be no internet access at the Geelong Library & Heritage Centre on Saturday 14 June.

The library will remain open as usual, and our friendly staff are here to assist you while some services are temporarily offline.

Here’s what you this means for you.

  • Public computers will be available for use, but won’t be connected to the internet
  • Printing services will be temporarily unavailable
  • The library catalogue will be offline – but our friendly team can help you find what you need
  • You can still borrow and return items and use the self-checkout kiosks

If you need internet access or printing services, nearby libraries will be open and unaffected:

  • Geelong West Library – open 9:00am to 1:00pm
  • Belmont Library – open 9:00am to 5:00pm

For more info on locations and hours, visit our location page for all our other library locations.

We apologise for this temporary disruption and thank you for your understanding.
