**Update**
Painting work at Ocean Grove Library is almost complete, and the library will reopen as scheduled on Thursday 19 March. The roofing maintenance, however, will continue until Easter.
This means there may be increased noise during opening hours, and parking will be limited during this time.

Ocean Grove Library will soon receive a refresh, with building and repainting works funded by the City of Greater Geelong. These improvements will improve the library space and customer experience.
To allow the works to be carried out safely, Ocean Grove Library will be closed from Thursday 26 February to Wednesday 18 March (inclusive).
During this time, the library building and car park will be inaccessible. Return chutes will also be closed.
If you’re an Ocean Grove Library customer, you can use any of our other libraries to borrow, place holds, or return items. Alternative nearby libraries include:

At its Board meeting held on Thursday 30 April 2026, the Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) resolved to place the Draft Budget 2026-27 and Strategic Resource Plan 2027-30 on public exhibition in preparation for adoption on Thursday 25 June 2026.
We are currently experiencing a network-wide issue affecting our public computers across our library branches. As a result, public computer access is currently unavailable.
We are reviewing our mobile library service across Golden Plains and the Bellarine, and we’re inviting community feedback to help guide its future.
Just a friendly reminder that all libraries in the our network are closed over Easter and for the ANZAC Day public holiday.
The Birregurra library kiosk at the Community Health Centre is now available for members to borrow, collect, and return library items at a time that suits them.
