Libraries are re-opening!

Sunday 26 September 2021

In line with today’s announcement from the Premier of Victoria, libraries in the City of Greater Geelong and Surf Coast Shire will re-open tomorrow, Monday 27 September. We will be so pleased to welcome you back!

Please note, some branches will be operating temporary opening hours on Monday only, before normal opening hours resume at all branches from Tuesday 28 September. Please see below.

A Click & Collect service will continue to be available, click here for details.

TEMPORARY OPENING HOURS – MONDAY 27 SEPTEMBER ONLY

The following libraries will be open from 9am-5pm:
• Belmont
• Corio
• Drysdale
• Geelong Library & Heritage Centre
• Geelong West
• Lara
• Leopold
• Newcomb
• Ocean Grove
• Torquay
• Waurn Ponds

The following libraries will be operating with normal opening hours:
• Apollo Bay
• Bannockburn
• Chilwell
• Colac
• Highton
• Queenscliff
• Mobile libraries

• Western Heights College Library is closed on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 September.
