At its Board meeting held on Thursday 1 May 2025, the Geelong Regional Library Corporation (GRLC) resolved to place the Draft Budget 2025-26 and Strategic Resource Plan 2025-29 on public exhibition in preparation for adoption on Thursday 26 June 2025.
The Draft Budget indicates the levels of recurrent income and expenditure, the capital works projects to be undertaken during the year and the level of expenditure on library materials in support of the Strategic Resource Plan 2025-29.
Per the Local Government Act 1989, a copy of the Draft Budget is available for inspection on our website here until Saturday 31 May 2025. Any person may make a written submission regarding this document in accordance with section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989. They, or their representative, may request to present the submission at a Special Meeting to be held on Thursday 6 June 2024 at 5:30pm.
Submissions must be lodged by 5pm Saturday 31 May 2025 to the Chief Executive Officer via: info@grlc.vic.gov.au.
Following consideration of any submissions, GRLC will meet to adopt the Draft Budget at its Board Meeting on Thursday 26 June 2025 at 5:30pm.
