SEED LIBRARY TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. SEED LIBRARY LOCATION AND OPERATING HOURS

You acknowledge that the Geelong Regional Libraries’ Seed Library operates out of Bannockburn, Torquay, Colac, Drysdale and Newcomb Libraries.  Members must attend the branches in person during their normal opening hours to donate and/or collect seeds.

2. SEED COLLECTION

2.1 Members of the Geelong Libraries’ Seed Library are entitled to collect up to three packets of seeds per month.

2.2 You acknowledge and agree that the availability of seeds is seasonal and dependent on donations to the Geelong Regional Libraries’ Seed Library.  You also acknowledge and agree that certain varieties of seeds may be unavailable from time to time.

2.3 Geelong Regional Libraries makes no guarantee about the quality, variety or viability of seeds made available as part of the Seed Library.

3. SEED DONATION

3.1 Members may donate seeds to the Geelong Regional Libraries Seed Library whereupon the member will be entitled to collect up to three additional packets of seeds from the Seed Library that month.

3.2 Seed donations may not be included in the Seed Library subject to Geelong Libraries staff discretion particularly if seeds are suspected or known to be a declared noxious weed.

4. LIABILITY

4.1 You participate in the Geelong Regional Libraries’ Seed Library at your own risk.

4.2 To the extent permitted by law, Geelong Regional Libraries is not liable to you for any loss, damage, claim or expense (‘loss’) suffered, including, but not limited to, property loss or damage, illness, personal injury and death, as a result of or in connection with your participation in or use of the Geelong Regional Libraries Seed Library.

5. GENERAL

Geelong Regional Libraries reserves the right to change or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
