The Camino de Santiago walk is an 800 kilometre journey commencing in St Jean Pied de Port in France and ending in Santiago in the North of Spain. It is a journey where pilgrims congregate from many different countries from around the world to share a range of experiences, scenery, and camaraderie. One Million Stars to End Violence is a community art installation project that aims to create one million woven stars for display as a giant installation at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. This project seeks to raise awareness about violence in the community and the woven stars are symbols of hope, light and courage.
