Barwon Heads Library is a small, intimate and quiet library located in the grounds of Barwon Heads Primary School. Our town has a reputation for holidaying and relaxation by the water, and a proud cultural heritage. The name Barwon originates from the Bengalat Clan of Wathaurong's language - Barra Warre N Yallok meaning "the great river which flows from the uplands to the sea".
