EXCITING NEWS - CHILWELL LIBRARY REOPENS MONDAY 21 SEPTEMBER

This library will reopen to the public from 10:30am, Monday 21 September (and returns to its regular operational hours from that date onwards)

It remains closed while the final preparations are completed, no public access to the building or returns chute during this time.

About

Chilwell Library was officially opened on 16 July 1958 by Cr Henry Jacobs, JP, Mayor. The library was refurbished in 1993 and again in 2019.  It is a small, intimate and community-focused library very close to the vibrant Pakington Street precinct.
