At its meeting held on 19 August 2021, the Geelong Regional Libraries’ Board resolved to place the Draft Library Plan 2021-25 on public exhibition in preparation for adoption by the Board on 19 September 2021.
The Draft Library Plan 2021-25 provides a roadmap for the organisation for the next four years, and outlines an organisational Purpose, and a set of actions under four pillars which the GRLC will deliver over the strategy period.
In accordance with the Local Government Act 1989, a copy of the Draft Library Plan 2021-25 is available for viewing on our website here until midday on Thursday 16 September 2021. Any person may make a written submission on this document in accordance with Section 223 of the Local Government Act 1989.
Submissions must be lodged no later than midday 16 September 2020 to the Chief Executive Officer via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Following consideration of any submissions, GRLC will meet to adopt the Draft Library Plan 2021-25 at its Board Meeting on Thursday 16 September 2021 at 5:00pm.

Libraries in City of Greater Geelong and Surf Coast Shire are re-opening Monday 27 September.
All Geelong Regional Libraries' branches and Mobile Libraries will be closed on Friday 24 September for the Victorian public holiday.
