Victorian public libraries are moving to a new state-wide courier service for interlibrary loans. This will take place over the next few months. There will be an interruption to the service that will temporarily affect the availability of interlibrary loans.
Geelong Regional Libraries patrons will be unable to place new interlibrary loan requests from 5pm Thursday 27 October until further notice. Existing requests will be supplied where possible, and patrons will be notified of any requests that cannot be fulfilled. In the meantime, please speak to library staff about any requests for books or other items to find out what options are available.
We welcome suggestions for items to add to our collection, and can also source items from other library collections.
Please fill in the form below with the details of the item you’re looking for. If an item is less than three years old, our Collections Team will review your request in accordance with our Collection Development Policy, and consider your suggestion for purchase.
Please note that while we welcome requests for new magazine titles, additions to the library’s magazine collection are only reviewed on an annual basis.
A separate form is required for each title you wish to suggest. Submissions containing multiple titles may not be processed.
We are committed to protecting your privacy, and to managing your personal and health information in the manner required by Victorian legislation.
The personal and health information collected through the submission of this form or conduct of this transaction will be held, used and disclosed in accordance with the Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014 and the Health Records Act 2001.
