Can't find what you're looking for?

We welcome suggestions for items to add to our collection, and can also source items from other library collections.

Please fill in the form below with the details of the item you’re looking for – we can either borrow it from another library (“Interlibrary Loan”) or buy it for our collection (“Suggestion for Purchase”).

If an item is less than three years old, our Collections Team will review your request in accordance with our Collection Development Policy, and consider your suggestion for purchase.

For items published or released more than three years ago, we can offer you an Interlibrary Loan. Our staff will search for the item at other public libraries in Victoria before searching libraries in other states and academic institutions*.

Please note that while we welcome requests for new magazine titles, additions to the library’s magazine collection are only reviewed on an annual basis.

A separate form is required for each title you wish to suggest. Submissions containing multiple titles may not be processed.

Due to COVID-19 there may be significant delays in obtaining new items and Interlibrary Loans. Thanks for your understanding.

* Interlibrary Loan Fees
Please note that fees ranging from $2.50 - $30.30 apply for Interlibrary Loans. In the form below, please select the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the item from the drop-down menu. We will always seek to source an Interlibrary Loan at the lowest possible cost to the customer.
