Meeting rooms are available for hire at several of our libraries: Geelong Library & Heritage Centre, and Bannockburn, Belmont, Corio, Newcomb and Waurn Ponds libraries.
Whether you are a business, a community group or a club, we can offer a choice of comfortable and well-appointed spaces for your meeting.
Depending on your needs, we have theatre-style spaces, mid-sized meeting rooms or smaller discussion rooms. Some rooms are available both during and after library opening hours. All meeting rooms are available for hire by the hour or by the day. Generous discounts are available for not-for-profits and community groups.
We also have a premium event space, the High Ground, Wurdi Youang, availabe at the Geelong Library & Heritage Centre.
Room hire rates vary, depending on whether or not the hirer is commercial or not-for-profit. We offer generous discounts for community groups. See fees & charges for more information.
Many rooms come with equipment including: data projectors, audio visual equipment, projector screens, whiteboards and lecterns. Some include basic kitchen equipment, boiling water unit, refrigerator and crockery. Check with our Venue Hire staff for full details.
