This change is a four-month trial to determine the demand for earlier openings and Monday opening. Please share this information and encourage your friends and family to visit the library and become a member.

Our libraries observe the following public holidays according to their municipalities: Geelong Show - Friday 19 October, Geelong Cup - Wednesday 24 October and Melbourne Cup - Tuesday 6 November.
A partnership between the Queenscliffe Maritime Museum and Geelong Regional Libraries has enabled broad public access to the Museum’s rich maritime book collection for the first time.

The international phenomena White Night is coming to Geelong on Saturday 13 October, and Geelong Library & Heritage Centre will host the amazing art installation Phantasmagoria by artist Christopher Langton.
Please note: With the exception of the Geelong Library & Heritage Centre, all Geelong Regional Library branches, including the Geelong Heritage Centre and mobile libraries will be closed on Tuesday 9 October due to a staff training day. Thank you for your understanding.
